Questions, corrections, data requests, or a stat you'd like investigated — I read everything that comes in.

The best way to reach me is by email:

Good reasons to write

  • Corrections. If a number looks wrong, point me to it. Include the article and, if you can, what you think the right figure is. I publish corrections.
  • Article ideas. A question you've always wanted answered with data is exactly the kind of thing this site exists for.
  • Methodology questions. Want to know how a chart was built or how a metric was computed? Many articles carry a step-by-step “Reproduce it” section, and every one of them carries either that or a sources block, so the trail back to the raw numbers is always there. The bundled data files are published at /data/data_layer/ and documented in SOURCE.txt, but I'm happy to walk through the steps.
  • Reuse and citation. If you'd like to cite or reproduce a chart, see the Terms of Use first, then get in touch.

Response time

This is an independent project, not a newsroom, so replies can take a few days. Corrections jump the queue.

Email is the only channel here — there is no contact form and no social account to message. A note sent to the address above reaches me directly.
