Data accuracy

The statistics on this site are pulled from public sources — primarily the NBA Stats API (via the nba_api package) and Basketball-Reference — and computed in code, with the source and retrieval date noted on each table and chart. I take accuracy seriously and publish the scripts so the work can be checked. Even so:

• Source data can contain errors, get revised, or be defined differently than you expect.
• Statistics are snapshots in time. A figure labeled "as of" a given date may differ from the current number once more games are played.
• Calculations and editorial judgments are my own and can be wrong.

If you spot a mistake, I want to know: contact@nbaanalytic.com. Corrections are made promptly and noted.
