Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information is collected when you visit nbaanalytic.com, how it's used, and the choices you have. It's written to be read, not just to exist.
Last updated: June 4, 2026.
Who we are
NBAAnalytic ("we," "us," "the site") operates the website at nbaanalytic.com. You can contact us about privacy at contact@nbaanalytic.com.
Information we collect
NBAAnalytic is a static website. We do not run accounts, and we don't ask you to submit personal information through forms. The information involved in your visit falls into three buckets:
- Information you send us directly. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include. We use it only to reply and to track corrections.
- Standard server logs. Our hosting provider (e.g., Cloudflare Pages or Netlify) automatically logs technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request, for security and reliability. We don't control the format of these logs and don't combine them with anything else to identify you.
- Analytics and advertising data. Third-party services described below may set cookies or use similar technologies to measure traffic and serve ads.
Cookies and similar technologies
A small amount of data is stored in your browser for the site to work and to remember your preferences — for example, your light/dark theme choice is saved in your browser's local storage. That preference never leaves your device.
Beyond that, cookies on this site come from the third-party analytics and advertising providers described below. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site will still function, and your theme choice will simply reset.
Google AdSense and advertising
We use (or intend to use) Google AdSense to display advertising, which is how the site is funded. In connection with this:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info/choices or youronlinechoices.eu.
- Where required by law (for example, for visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland), Google's consent management will request your consent before setting non-essential cookies, and you can change your choice at any time.
For more on how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see Google's Privacy & Terms.
Analytics
We use website analytics to understand which articles are useful and worth expanding — for example, aggregate page views and general location and device categories. Analytics data is used in aggregate and is not used to identify you personally. If we use a provider that sets cookies (such as Google Analytics), those cookies are covered by the consent and opt-out mechanisms above.
How we use information
- To operate, secure, and maintain the website.
- To understand, in aggregate, what content readers find valuable.
- To display advertising that helps fund the site.
- To respond to emails and process corrections.
We do not sell your personal information.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, or to opt out of certain processing (including under the GDPR and the CCPA/CPRA). Because we hold very little personal data directly, the most effective controls are usually your browser's cookie settings and the advertising opt-outs linked above. To make a request or ask a question, email contact@nbaanalytic.com.
Children's privacy
This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Third-party links
Articles link out to sources like Basketball-Reference and NBA.com. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we aren't responsible for their practices.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves or as the law changes. When we do, we'll revise the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected prominently on this page.
